SERVICES

Every body holds
a story worth hearing.

The way we approach therapy depends on who you are, what you’re going through and what helps you feel safe enough to explore it.

I work with children ages 6–12 and young women, using somatic, creative, and relational approaches tailored to each person's needs.

How I Can Help

FOR YOUNG WOMEN

Individualized Somatic Therapy

Maybe you’re the person everyone comes to for help. You’re caring, capable, responsible; but internally you might be:

Overthinking everything. Worrying about the smallest things. Trying to make everyone else happy. Holding yourself to impossible standards. Questioning whether you’re doing enough. Struggling to know what you actually want. And maybe you’re ready for a change.

I can help when you’re navigating…

  • Anxiety & overthinking

    • When your brain analyzes, anticipates or prepares for the worst - and it won’t stop

  • Perfectionism

    • When ‘good enough’ never seems to be good enough

  • People-pleasing

    • When you can’t say no or put others’ needs above your own

  • Self-worth & self-doubt

    • When you know you can do it, but just can’t get yourself to move

  • Relationships & boundaries

    • Difficulties communicating or you feel stuck in unhealthy patterns

  • Life transitions

    • Changes in identity, relationships, career, independence, or simply ‘what am I doing with my life?’

FOR PARENTS/CAREGIVERS

Individualized Play Therapy

You don’t have to do this alone. Therapy can give your child a safe, supportive space to express what’s happening through the language that comes most naturally to them: play, creativity, movement, and connection.

I can help if your child experiences…

  • Anxiety & Worry

    • Frequent worries, fears, reassurance-seeking, avoidance, or difficulty separating from caregivers

  • Big feelings

    • Meltdowns, frustration, anger, sadness, disappointment or any other emotions that seem too difficult to manage

  • Grief & Loss

    • Processing the loss of someone, something or a place they love - other experiences of big change

  • Family & Life Changes

    • Divorce, moving, new siblings, changes in family dynamics, school transitions, or other disruptions to their world

  • School & Social Stress

    • Difficulty adjusting, friendship challenges, school anxiety, or feeling overwhelmed

FOR YOUNG WOMEN

Becoming more connected to the person you already are

TOGETHER WE’LL WORK ON DEVELOPING…

  • Greater self trust

  • More awareness of what you need

  • Healthier boundaries

  • More compassionate relationship with yourself

  • Greater emotional awareness

  • A stronger sense of identity

  • Feeling more grounded and present in your life

FOR PARENTS/CAREGIVERS

Actually getting to know your child

Instead of sitting across from me and being expected to explain everything, your child might play, draw, move, create, talk, or simply be themselves.

I’ll meet them where they are and use the things that come naturally to help them better understand their emotions, build skills, feel more confident, and develop a stronger sense of safety and connection.

SOME EXAMPLES WHILE IN SESSION…

  • Use your body to create the shape of anger, sadness, worry

  • Coping skills practice with Simon Says

MY APPROACH

The Quirky Bodies
Framework

Healing is not linear, and it's not one-size-fits-all. My methodology weaves together somatic awareness, trauma-informed care, and genuine human connection - meeting you wherever you are in the process.

01

Regulate

Come back to safety.

Before we can process anything, your nervous system needs to know it's safe. Together, we'll learn to recognize your body's signals and build practical anchors that bring you back to a regulated state — even when life gets overwhelming.

  • Body scan and somatic awareness

  • Grounding techniques tailored to you

  • Understanding your unique nervous system patterns

  • Co-regulation within the therapeutic relationship

02

Restore

Reconnect with yourself.

Once your nervous system has more capacity, we explore the deeper layers — the experiences, beliefs, and stored patterns that have kept you stuck. This isn't about rehashing the past; it's about gently completing what didn't get to finish.

  • Processing difficult memories with somatic tools

  • Working through grief, loss, and transition

  • Rebuilding your relationship with your body

  • Exploring identity, worth, and belonging

03

Renew

Build a life that feels like yours.

Healing creates space — for new ways of being, relating, and living. In this phase, we integrate your growth and build toward the life you actually want. Not the one you've been white-knuckling through.

  • Clarifying values and meaningful direction

  • Building supportive relationships and boundaries

  • Embodying new patterns in daily life

  • Celebrating progress (seriously — we do this)

"We don't move through these stages in a straight line — we spiral, revisit, and deepen. That's not failure. That's healing."
